The Singapore Saree - Jubilee Collection – Botania
4 Jul 2015 – Singapore Botanic Garden’s inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage site
The recent inscription of the 156 year old Singapore Botanic Gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage Site couldn’t have come at a better time than SG50!
In celebration of our tropical island and the Botanic Gardens is the BOTANIA, which gives an instant vintage feel. The banana leaves used frequently in Peranakan and Indian cooking and the vast multifarious spices such as cinnamon and cloves remind us of how Singapore was designated as the port for the spice trade in South East Asia in the early 1900s. Time to get spicy!
